C&F question

Postby longlivetheking » Fri Oct 11, 2013 3:31 pm

I know different schools have different policy, but i got a $100 fine for jumping a nyc subway turnstile, but wasn't summoned to court or arrested. is this required to disclose?

Edit: i did some researching and apparently this is treated as a Class A misdemeanor, Theft of Services – N.Y. Penal Law § 165.15.

i suppose i should disclose but it says its going to be on my record permanently. should i be worried?

Definitely disclose.

But you shouldn't be worried.

Check the language on the applications, and if you're unsure, disclose.

But law schools will not care at all about this.
