I know these pass/fail threads get old but I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
I've already taken 4 courses pass/fail for a total of 15 hours (three required 4 hour foreign language courses and one 3 hour grad course). I'm taking a class right now where I'm almost assuredly going to get a B in and the deadline to change it to pass/fail is this week. My GPA = 3.807 so getting a B will probably drop me down .02-.04 points depending on how I do in my other courses. Since I've already taken 15 hours pass/fail do you think this is one of those "in for a penny, in for a pound" situations or will taking a 5th course P/F hurt me? I know having one or two P/F isn't a big deal but I'm not sure where the threshold lies for the number taken.

No, the PASS grades don't really hurt you. Although it does look better to the ad comms if you have A's or B in place, having PASS mark(s) won't hurt your admissions chances if your LSAT meet or exceeds the law school's median.

So do you think I should take the B and have my GPA drop a bit or should I pass/fail it since I've already taken 15 hours p/f anyway?

I would take the P over the B any day
