1. Do you have a 173 or 174?
2. I wouldn't ED NU with either score.

Either 173 or 174, it seems like this dude is a lock. He seems like exactly who they want. If I were in your shoes I would ED it, but you will probably see big money from all of the lower T14, and I'd imagine you have a shot at least H.Tiago Splitter wrote:1. Do you have a 173 or 174?

Oh he'll almost certainly get it if he applies. I'd just personally really like that shot at Harvard and he'll likely get a full ride somewhere in the lower T-14 regardless, and given his goals he seems at best indifferent between NU and any of those other schools. In fact he seems to actually prefer Chicago the least among major American cities. OP any particular reason for the extreme debt aversion?deputydog wrote:Either 173 or 174, it seems like this dude is a lock. He seems like exactly who they want. I want to have flexibility when I graduate to pursue jobs that I find interesting -- if I end up in Biglaw, it will be because I really want to work there, not because I'm enslaved to monthly debt payments.Tiago Splitter wrote:deputydog wrote:Tiago Splitter wrote:1. Do you have a 173 or 174?

I think a shot at H is a bit of an understatement. OP here is where you're sitting with either score:deputydog wrote:Either 173 or 174, it seems like this dude is a lock. I don't really see you not getting the NU ED, however; I also think you would get quite a bit of $$ from better schools, schools that will give you a better shot at pursuing jobs that you find "interesting".

yea, im going to flip flop. OP, apply to all the T14. You will for sure get a ton of bucks, and H would be amazing. Go to H.Travis12 wrote:I think a shot at H is a bit of an understatement. Don't lock yourself in with ED. However, Northwestern does have one of the best ED programs. Wouldn't be the end of the world, but I would still apply throughout the T14

It seems you're are almost a lock for at least full tuition at Duke, UVA, or Michigan or perhaps all of them. And my guess is you would still get the 150K from regular decision from Northwestern.
