I had TS1 on Feb 4th. Others from that day still waiting?

(Pleeeaaase, tell me I'm not suffering alone!)

I had mine on Feb. 5th. The difference between the people who have been accepted today and those who are still waiting seems to be complete date. Everyone who has been accepted today was complete by late January, while the ones still waiting were complete after their calls in February. I think there are too many of us February completers who haven't been called to justify too much worry at this point, especially if the 80% ratio of TS1/TS2 is correct. We should probably just sit tight and hope to hear something soon.

When did benny go complete? Does he have an LSN?

So if I went complete last week, I should not be getting a call today?

I thought I read that Benny went complete on the 31st. Not sure if he has an LSN. I'm definitely still hoping for more calls today, but I wouldn't freak out if you don't get one (assuming no one else who went complete in February gets one either).

I went complete in January, but had my interview last week...which of those dates seems to be the one that counts?

... just to clarify. I'm the Anyglen mentioned above -- I got in via phone call. The confusion is probably because I applied 2 years ago, when I was overseas. Not so any more.

For those interested, I got TS1 on Jan 26, complete Jan 31. TS2 about 130 EST today. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

LOL. Nothing like seeing a discussion about your numbers/completion date/phone call emerge in your absence; and then seeing that everyone knows about as much about those things as you do!

Underdawg, I took a major risk, and decided to try and stimulate a casual conversation. I was sure that the Pats' loss would be the talk of the town at the time, so I thought about the game, talked about it with some people, and figured I could talk for about 10 minutes about it, if necessary.

Gamble paid off. I didn't talk much about what I was doing (frankly, I'm not doing much of anything that's not purely academic right now) and I think I gave lie to the idea that U of C students don't know how to talk to people in real life.

I still haven't decided where I'm going-- I want to look at all of my options first. Still haven't heard from Y/S, and Chicago, CLS and UVA are all places I could see myself at.

But this is a wonderful opportunity, and I'm glad it's available to me. Congrats to everyone who made the cut, so to speak.

Now I can engage in controversial religious arguments w/out worrying about whether adcoms will hold it against me. If they haven't yet, I doubt they will in the future.

At least one person on LSN who went complete last week got in yesterday.

Which person is this? Of the people I see who were accepted yesterday, the most recent complete date is 1/31

I PMed the ones who didn't have their complete and interview dates up. One of them emailed me back (I'm not sure which because his email address didn't match any of the handles on LSN). He had his interview on Jan 29th and went complete a week later, i.e. last week.

Edit: I think it must have been 'loracs' cause he's the only one without a complete date up.

Hmm. That does confuse things a little. I'm still hoping some of us get the call, but I'll start preparing myself for the deferral email just in case.

Today I missed a call from a 617 area-code number!

It was BU. Apparently they didn't get my withdrawal email and let me in anyway.
