Submitting a CV instead of resume?
So I come from an academic/science background (PhD in hard sciences) and I'm wondering whether anyone out there who applied to law school from a similar background submitted their CV or condensed it into a 1-2 page resume? My CV is around 5-6 pages after condensing it from nearly 10. Do law schools expect PhDs to submit CV's instead of resumes or would they expect us to condense them to 1-2 page resumes? I appreciate any input or experience.

Re: Submitting a CV instead of resume?
I used a 5 pp. academic cv when I applied, and my cycle went exactly as expected (I got in everywhere my numbers were competitive, didn't get in where they weren't). I'm sure some people will tell you to turn it into a resume and that you can fit everything important onto 1 page, but I don't think it matters for the purpose of law school admissions (as opposed to legal hiring). Of course, if the school provides a page limit, you'd obviously want to follow directions, but otherwise I wouldn't worry.
