Basically it's a pass/fail.
I'm taking Italian, and I'm not sure if I can get an A.
It's 5 credits a B would be detrimental.
Should I take it pass/fail or try to get at least an A-?
Does a pass/fail look bad on a transcript for law school application?

Do what you want. No one will be suspicious of a pass fail class or two.

Go for the pass/fail if you think the course will lower your GPA. Schools generally don't care about anything except GPA + LSAT.

That increases the strength with which I would recommend a Pass/Fail.
Seriously, everyone out there, no one cares that you took a few classes pass/fail! This question comes up at least once a week. Why do people think this is such a big deal?
