163-170 need an addendum

Postby jwg6x6 » Sun Aug 25, 2013 12:59 am

I was stupid and did not cancel my first test score even though I threw up during the break and the night before because I was sick. Should I write an addendum or do I just look like im whining?

Can you prove that you were 'sick'? Otherwise, you will have to explain why you got drunk the night before the exam. IMO, that will not be a reasonable excuse. Good luck.

Unless the school asks for it, I wouldn't.

If they do ask for it, you can (and should) tell the truth, just don't be whiny about it. State the facts, that's it. They understand that stuff like that does come up from time to time.

No addendum, don't draw attention to it. I jumped 12 points on a retake, no addendum, no problems.
