Yes. Hence why this is news.MoMettaMonk wrote:Wait... wasn't CLS 172 last year? And the year before that? And the year before that?

No, it means more emphasis on the LSAT because those top scores are rarer and more valuable.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Ugh, does this mean splitters are screwed? Less emphasis on LSAT scores? Eff.

It was, but apparently it was worse than CLS's TTT medians.t-14orbust wrote:lol was that not a joke?ImNoScar wrote:Yes. Hence why this is news.MoMettaMonk wrote:Wait... wasn't CLS 172 last year? And the year before that? And the year before that?
Depends on the school. CLS's median GPA dropped, and so did their GPA floor. Hence splitters, at least for CLS, benefited.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Ugh, does this mean splitters are screwed? Less emphasis on LSAT scores? Eff.

Isn't that a good thing?bowser wrote:Crap, there were only 352 matriculants to CLS. And 20+ of them have apparently transferred to Harvard/Stanford already. This class is comparatively tiny.
Nah thats after the transfers. Original class was about 365. There were ~13 kids who accepted offers off the waitlist at H or S.bowser wrote:Crap, there were only 352 matriculants to CLS. And 20+ of them have apparently transferred to Harvard/Stanford already. This class is comparatively tiny.
+1. I can confirm my disgust at the 171 knaves. Sometimes I shout it out in CivPro. "That sounds like a 171 answer. If you're looking for a school that tolerates that shit, The NYUNICEF Charitable Foundation For Underprivileged Law Students is always open."Tiago Splitter wrote:This new class of underqualified CLS 1L's makes me sick
Class was 362 at orientation. Nine transfers, I assume all to H and S, though I can't be sure. If it would have made a difference, they would've put these numbers up ASAP. The median was likely gone by April.jbagelboy wrote:Nah thats after the transfers. Original class was about 365.
