They kept the 170. Don't worry about them guys, they're doing just fine.

If NU's example is representative, Penn's delay might be a bad sign for them.

They didn't make the desperation move for 169s like UVA did. I'm guessing they kept the 170.

folks with below median gpa but 169 lsat were deferred for Penn ED. this somewhat supports the 169 Penn median since they weren't outright rejected.

I applied RD and was waitlisted with a 169 and a below median GPA. Why would they outright reject 169s if they might possibly need them if their median dropped? If the 169s were getting in, then it's a pretty clear sign that their median dropped. But the 169s weren't getting in.

I would bet Penn held 170. Then again, they may have miscalculated.. CLS thought it would hold 172 until the class lost a bunch of ppl in August.

A couple to Harvard, a few more to Stanford, a couple just didn't go this cycle.

i didn't know that CLS median was that precarious, such that losing maybe 5 people would have shifted the median from 172 to 171? surely they would have a bigger leeway than that?

No wonder CLS is mad at HLS.

Actually, it was SLS letting students off their WL in August due to lower than expected yield that grabbed most kids. Only a couple (like 2 or 3?) accepted the harvard WL offer.

The ABA just released total enrollment figures for the fall class of 2013: 39,675. First year enrollment is down 24% since 2010.

A lot of the schools have now posted the standard 509 reports on their websites. Through these, I've updated some of the data in the spreadsheet like GW's numbers, Fordham's class size, etc. Some of the numbers people had up didn't match the standard 509 reports, so definitely don't take them for granted.

Random and mildly interesting statistic; Maryland raised their 25th percentile LSAT 3 points (151 to 154), while their median LSAT dropped 3 points (162 to 159).

These Standard 509 Reports are great for filling in holes in the spreadsheet while waiting for school decisions.

We just tweeted all of Stanford's official data. Hat tip to my secret source for informing me they just put it up.

LOL @ Valparaiso's 143 median (down 6 points from last year!?!). That's even lower than Cooley's 145. Perhaps the lowest ever (outside of the ABA-accredited Puerto Rican law schools).

Man every time I log on to TLS I get Valpo ads. Do we have 509 stats or a link to their info?

LOL @ Cooley. Law schools must be struggling if the second best law school's number of matriculants declined from an all-time high of 1583 [1] to 582.

Any info on John Marshall Chicago? I need hard data to dissuade my OL friends from matriculating.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
