Re: Anyone on here have a W from Kent State University?
Did you go to the LSAC link in the other thread? According to that site (which is part of LSAC), LSAC omits W grades when calculating the GPA. What more do you need to know?

Okay maybe I wasn't clear in the other thread. Most (all?) schools have a system regarding drop dates as follows:
(1) <~2 weeks into semester: you can drop a class and it will NOT show on your transcript
(2) [date] towards the middle/end of semester: you can drop a class, but it WILL show on your transcript as a W
(3) past [date]: you are not allowed to drop a class
If you dropped a class between (1) and (2), and you were in good standing (meaning not failing, no pending charges, etc.), then your W will NOT count on your GPA, REGARDLESS of how your school tallies "attempted" credits.
If the letter grade is EXACTLY a "W" and no more/less, then you don't have to worry about it. It gets trickier if there is a prefix/suffix to the "W" like "W-F" or something. This much is pretty standard across schools.

1. Ban OP for alting
2. OP, what in the actual fuck is wrong with you? How have you not just sent your god damn transcripts in to LSAC to find out for yourself??? You've gotten essentially the same answers in every single fucking thread. You've gone full potato, get a grip.

Was just about to post some of the same links. This insanity actually goes back all the to last goddamn year. Notice that she accidentally replied to Regulus with yet another alt in that second thread you linked (third post). That would be this alt: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/s ... 0&sr=posts.WokeUpInACar wrote:1. Ban OP for alting
