Top Law Schools

All right, so I just updated the data (not to where it is now, but to where it was sometime in December..) Also, I added a feature that will let you see average scholarship award for each school, along with the percentage of students that got a scholarship.

The change made me a bit nervous, as I had to get all the data over again, and this was the first time I had to deal with the new site. So if anyone sees anything odd or wrong, please tell me. All the old data + old code is still there, so I can revert if need be.

Sweet, more splitters! Not sweet, pretty much no one in my range got into NYU, like 1/17. A better % made it into HYS. Damn you NYU!

I don't know if this is how the scholarships work, but ought the percentage include all people who got scholarships with your numbers or worse?

Great site. Does it still weight all years evenly? Medians have changed at several schools.

The last admissions cycle that this site reflects is 2008. It doesn't give the numbers you want and is old.

What are my chances?

I attended the university of texas at austin for 60 credits with a 2.0 gpa and suffered due to immaturity and lack of discipline. I then joined the military as a linguist. 129 credit hours later, I earned an undergraduate degree with a 4.1 lsac gpa for those 129 credits. My cumulative will be around 3.4. I also acquired a masters degree in math with a 4.0. My LSAT is a 179. What are my chances at being accepted into top 14 schools?

Benefits: Fluent in arabic, 179 lsat, strong upward trend in gpa. Is that upward trend valued heavily? I imagine it shouldn't be difficult for them to correlate the drastic change in work ethic and success with my involvement in the military. Clearly, I am a different person from the boy who made negligible effort in his first years of college. Will they condemn me for the boy I used to be or judge the credentials of the man I have become? I am 27 years old. Thank you.

You should be able to get into several T-14s. The GPA will cost you a bit... you may get into some excellent schools but you wont get the $ that someone with, say, a 3.6, 172 would. good luck.

Oh thank you. I plan on using the GI bill, so cost shouldn't be that much of an issue. Hopefully, I can be convincing enough in the addendum. I do love trying to convince people of things, especially things I feel passionately about.
