Anyone have word on if/when to expect hidden fee waivers from Columbia, NYU, Penn, or Chicago?

Same. I'd much rather wait a bit to submit my apps if it meant saving $300+. Then again, if these schools don't do fee waivers, there's no point in waiting. Any advice from those who know?

Maybe it's just me, but I totally missed Northwestern's big purple button on their website for a fee waiver. It's on the right side of the this page: https://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissions/applying/

Cheers

Just had my fee waiver request rejected by BU...Kind of shocked, as I'm significantly above both 75s. Do they really not do individual waivers? Or is this YP? I hope not, as it is actually a top choice of mine with the right scholarship.

"Thank you for your interest in Boston University School of Law. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a merit-based fee waiver by request. We do offer select candidates merit-based fee waivers through the LSAC Candidate Referral Service (CRS). Please be sure to register with the CRS. We do review requests for need-based fee waivers. If you feel that you may qualify for a need-based fee waiver, please email us at bulawadm@bu.edu with the following information. If you are a registered student, please include a copy of your current year’s financial aid award letter which includes budget and award. If you are not currently a student, please email a letter stating your financial situation and include documentation. Please include your name and LSAC number in the email. We look forward to receiving your application."

Update on the need-based solicitations (I just sent emails - did not submit forms):

Granted:
Georgetown

Denied:
UC-Berkeley

Other:
UT-Austin (told me to submit the fee waiver application forms)
Penn (told me to submit the fee waiver application forms)

Still to come:
Harvard (already contacted - told me to submit the fee waiver application forms mid-September)

(Quoted my original post to have everything in one place)

livefromannarbor wrote:So, since there seemed to be a little interest, I'll go ahead and post the results of round one of need-based solicitations.

Granted:
Alabama Law
UVA
Cornell

Denied:
Chicago

Also of potential interest:

Hidden waiver:
Michigan

Unsolicited waivers (for schools to which I may actually apply):
William and Mary
Vanderbilt

I'm a Texas resident, and just got a non-financial need fee waiver for UT. Not sure if they're going out more broadly.

If I've learned anything this cycle, it's that splitters don't get waivers. High 170s, no dice from Duke, Cornell, or UMich.

Sorry - figured it wasn't there. I would think someone would bite with an LSAT like that! Have you tried soliciting?
