My transcript isn't in either. Are you signed up for CRS and this cycle?

Pretty sure I am. I didn't make any designations about regions or programs that schools offer though. I didn't think that stuff would matter.

Did you open any of the emails you got? The waivers are in the emails.

The designations I made re: regions haven't seemed to matter to the schools which have been sending me waivers. I only just now got my first waiver from a school in the region I want (Seton Hall.) The rest of the waivers have come from well outside my indicated area of preference.

I've gotten all of the ones under T50 but that's it...anyone know the stats needed to get any of the higher ones?

I remember getting stuff from Akron and UCinci but I didn't bother opening them because I don't plan on applying to either school. I thought I might be in the running for UCLA at least, considering that I'm above both of their 75%'s.

I just got a "Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College" one in the actual mail and not via e-mail. That was a first.

I got Nebraska in the mail. They gave me a little postcard with a code to enter for the fee waiver. Why are they asking me to jump through all these hoops???

Just got Wisconsin as well. Oddly, one of my top choices outside of the t-14 (love the city, the campus, and have family in the area so wouldn't mind sticking around)

This is fee waiver related-ish, if you're reapplying is there something that you have to do to let schools know? Or will I just be soliciting all of my fee waivers this year?

Taking October, but prepping and then soliciting as soon as scores are released.

I was thinking two weeks after their apps open? Is that too soon?

ex: ask Cornell on 9/1 and Duke on 9/15

I got this one too. Another thing I found interesting was the inclusion of a "Business Reply Mail" postcard asking me which of the following programs I was interested in receiving more info about. Included among the regular practice areas (IP, PI, Tax) were these two:

-Animal Law
-Global Law

Does anyone know what these things are? What do animal lawyers do? Maybe not the appropriate thread, but still, I'm interested. Technically there was a fee waiver...

Anyone know if it is possible to get fee waivers if your only LSAT score is the October one? I hope I can get them between Nov 1st and Thanksgiving so I can submit my apps after I get my score back

This depends on the school a bit. There's a list here with dates of the first reported waivers last cycle (from this thread). For Cornell, the only person who reported successfully soliciting a merit-based fee waiver was ChampagnePapi--they're usually unsolicited. If you want to try, you should do that now since I expect they'll be mailing them soon. It might at least get you on their radar for the CRS search if they haven't done it already.

I don't know who solicited Duke. They usually do unsolicited fee waivers and Priority track invites right before the app opens.

For GULC, I solicited two weeks before the app opened, but you could probably e-mail now.

Yes. There's a thread about post-October fee waivers from last cycle here.

Extremely helpful, thanks! What exactly is the LSAC forum and how does one get waivers from it?
