hi, sorry for the dumb question, but are you guys getting these waivers in your e-mail inbox?

Also, who do you contact to solicit fee waivers directly from schools?

Thanks

edit: I haven't received any emails from *any* schools, and I have CRS turned on so I'm not sure what's up. I have a 171 and 3.6 so not the cream of the crop or anything, but I'd have expected some waivers from TTT schools at least...

Yeah, I've been getting emails. Double check that CRS is turned on, and make sure your profile is filled out.

I haven't solicited at all, but I gather you just email the generic admissions office email; most schools should have one listed on their website.

Thanks! I just checked, and everything seems in order. I guess if I don't get anything in the next week I'll send out a couple emails. :)

UCLA — hooray! Guess this means I just needed to wait. Here's hoping to a slew of T14 this week everyone.

UCLA and W&M as well!

I'm wondering how long I should wait before I start soliciting fee waivers.

UCLA twice. I solicited them last night and then both the unsolicited one and a response from them today.

I got a W & M email but it doesn't look like I got a fee waiver? Just the email? Doesn't really matter tho I'm not applying there

Guys - please post your stats when announcing a waiver.

I wanna make some graphs so we can get a grasp of where exactly someones stats have to be for a particular school to get a waiver.

Just an idea though.

W & M, UCLA and Michigan State unsolicited. I might use the UCLA one, but could just be a waste of $25 lol since I think I'm staying east coast.

Seattle looks like a cool place, but I doubt I could commit myself to it by going there.

Here's how I've fared so far (stats in profile):

UVA (solicited)
Northwestern (solicited)
UCLA (unsolicited)
Michigan (solicited- yes, but wait for CRS)
Georgetown (denied)

USC denied my solicitation attempt. (Kinda snarkily, too...)

Two weeks later, I got an unsolicited waiver from them. Fuck you, USC.
