Just submitted some apps very recently (read: yesterday) and found a bunch of hidden waivers ... which I didn't really know was a thing, but am nevertheless very thankful for them! I took the December LSAT.

UVa - given a code after a seminar with UVa representative
UChicago - emailed through CRS
UCLA - hidden
Emory - emailed through CRS
UT Austin - emailed through CRS
Columbia - hidden, received notice of waiver post-submission
UPenn - hidden
USC - hidden
Georgetown - hidden
Duke - got PT email today
Vanderbilt - emailed through CRS

Have Cornell and NYU finished sending out their waivers?

Just got nyu email about crs only and them reimbursing if I get the waiver. But do they really give you a waiver after the fact? Seems like they would just say that and then if they see you paying for an app then no waiver.

Anyone ever get their app fee back from them? Dunno whether to pull the trigger or wait.

I got both as well, I may throw a bone towards Duke as i'm in the 25-75 range for lsat, but I'm not going to help Columbia's selectivity by being another ding on the barbie.
Yeah, I was a little thrown off by their fee-waiver as well... I wonder how many waivers they send out to people below their medians..

Anyone else get the snail-mail letter from Stanford? They included a need-based waiver application and some other stuff. I wish they did merit waivers ;_;

Yes. my S/O told me "you got a free app from Stanford in the mail" and I texted her back "I think you mean Samford" :lol:
Came home to find out it was a application to apply for a merit waiver :|

Received snail mail from Stanford as well. I thought it was a fee waiver initially, until I fully read it through.

Got the same thing. Chuckled. But there was a whole thing about latinos, so they know I'm that at least.

Pretty cruel joke overall though :|
Seriously. I got some stuff about womenz.

On another note, I'm super-psyched, as I have a hidden waiver from Cornell! :}

Is it safe to say that most waves of waiver emails from CRS are over by now?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
