Re: 2013-2014 Fee waivers Rolling in
I also got a waiver from W&M, but I haven't sent CAS my transcript. Does anybody know from past experience whether or not that impacts fee waivers at certain schools, or are they primarily off of LSAT scores?

Re: 2013-2014 Fee waivers Rolling in
I've received waivers from W&M, Tulane, WUSTL, and Michigan State thus far, not counting schools outside top 100. I also have not sent in my transcript to LSAC so I think it is safe to assume that it is, in fact, based off LSAT scores. At least as far as this batch of waivers go.itachiuchiha wrote:So after getting back the June 2013 LSAT score, I see colleges offering fee waivers left and right, most of them are for this cycle (strange). But some schools like William & Mary just gave me one for next cycle. Anyone else getting good waivers for next cycle?

Has anyone received waivers from any other schools? I am interested to see who has decided not to offer me a waiver.

Re: 2013-2014 Fee waivers Rolling in
Before the June 2013 LSAT (my 1st LSAT) I got one from University of Pittsburgh. This week since the scores have been released I have one from William & Mary, University of Richmond, and Mississippi College. After reading they send out waivers sometimes simply to boost selectivity is messing with my mind about whether or not they're interested or just trying to bait more applicants.

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
33- William and Mary-2014
53-Richmond- Fee waiver for this and next cycle.
68-Case Western Reserve School of law? 2013 cycle.
80- Brooklyn Law school- 2013 cycle
86-Rutgers- ITS NOT TO LATE TO APPLY FOR 2013 Cycle
99-William Mitchel-2013 Cycle
MC Law-2013 Cycle (Not sure who they are, and don't care enough to google them).
The only one that wasn't asking for applications for this cycle was William and Mary. Still have my senior year of undergrad, you think they will waive my final year?

so indeed most of these are for this cycle. I feel that only WM is the one that is of any real value

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
I took the LSAT in June '09, updated my LSAC settings in May to reflect my decision to finally apply this fall and have since received recruitment mail from several schools, including Alabama and University of Colorado, most notably.

I'm hoping that the aforementioned update will lead to the same volume of waivers that I received in 2009 immediately following the test. If anyone has experience with this specific type of situation I would be very interested to hear their perspective.

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
I got one for UCLA after February - hopefully it will roll over to this fall! Other than UCLA, the only recent fee waiver I'm considering using is for William & Mary (one of only two schools who gave me a waiver for the 2013-2014 cycle specifically).

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
If you get a fee waiver that for some reason doesn't roll over just email the school and ask for a fee waiver. I emailed every school I applied too and only ended up paying for 5 of 13 apps.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
