Candidate Referral Service
Is there any benefit to registering for this when signing up with LSAC or will I just be bombarded with emails from low tier law schools?
Or do schools in the T14 send out their information using this service as well?

So this is the only way to get fee waivers? I thought it was a completely different process...

I think only other way would be you personally contacting the school.Darmody wrote:So this is the only way to get fee waivers? I thought it was a completely different process...

You can ask for them, but several schools only give them out through CRS, and you may get them quicker (and it is way easier) through CRS compared to soliciting

I kinda regret not signing up for CRS... not sure if I woulda gotten fee waivers, but I feel like I missed the boat by not at least putting myself out there - especially when people talk about all their fee waivers and I just look at my CC statement to see my unwaived fees

Fee waivers are basically the reason CRS exists.Darmody wrote:So this is the only way to get fee waivers? I thought it was a completely different process...

If only, if only... when I was waiting for my LSAT score, there was nothing more frustrating than having my heart skip a beat when I received an email, only to find out that it was from Barry or Akron Law.laxbrah420 wrote:Just add filters to skip emails not from the T30.edu's

I set up a filter to skip the inbox and archive all emails including the terms "Law School" or "School of Law." They were given a label ("Law School") and I would go through them once a week to see if I missed anything important.PRgradBYU wrote:If only, if only... when I was waiting for my LSAT score, there was nothing more frustrating than having my heart skip a beat when I received an email, only to find out that it was from Barry or Akron Law.laxbrah420 wrote:Just add filters to skip emails not from the T30.edu's
Unfortunately my undergrad unit was call the "School of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice" so I unintentionally filtered out all emails from my professors...
