despite what boomer sympathizers like LexLeon say, law school admissions is a numbers game. LSAT and GPA. lets see 'em, end of story. that is how things work. you want a bump from softs? you better be a rhodes scholar, have won an olympic gold medal or cured cancer. otherwise, no one cares. LOL at more robust candidate. numbers, period.

Your GPA doesn't mean crap without a great LSAT score.

idk about all that now.. So you're saying an applicant with a 3.4 gpa and 152 lsat would be preferred over an applicant with a 151 lsat and 3.8? I find that hard to believe

Neither of those are great LSAT scores.

My undergrad had a few shitty clubs and societies. I felt the only reason for their existence was so the members could add nice fluff to their resumes... they had like 10 VICE PRESIDENTS of something. they didn't even had subordinates

I just got elected as the secretary if an advisory board for my local government. Do you guys think that will help at all?

You need to figure out that virtually nothing you do in college, except for your GPA, matters. Post-graduation work experience can help at the margins, especially for HYS, but still pales in importance compared to LSAT/GPA. You can do all the advisory boards and honors thesis you want, but the guy with one extra point on the LSAT will probably get a spot ahead of you at law school X.

It's like you're trying not to understand this.

You keep adding this to everyone's threads. Sure - but it's not like a person can do anything about their race/ethnicity, like they can their GPA or LSAT.

but it counts, and some people don't know about how much of a boost they can get from being URM.

Being a member might not help you too much if it amounts only to a bullet point on your resume. But the organization offers many opportunities for leadership and community service that are good in themselves, and also make you a more robust law school applicant.

Have you ever said anything that is accurate?

URM/AA/race flamebaiting is completely unacceptable, for those who didn't already know that.

It's not up for discussion, at least not here. Go to the Mod Q&A/complaint thread if you have a problem.

I know you're trying to get into Miami right? Trust me dude, your extra cirriculars come in handy if your gpa or lsat is lagging. I know someone who got in with similar credentials as you but had a 151 lsat and 3.4.. don't listen to these haters bro. Do your thing
