I thought LSAC sends out a notice around mid may to all the schools about deposits and double deposits. So, you are better off withdrawing other acceptances once you have deposited.untar614 wrote:do schools have a way of seeing where else you've deposited without you telling them?
That was just your impression - she is saying that you cannot, as a condition for accepting a seat in a class or a scholarship, be require to withdraw your application from a school which has neither accepted nor rejected you.totoro wrote:Oh, I thought she is also talking about schools where you haven't received a scholarship decision. Was that just my impression?Cicero76 wrote:Duke can certainly require you to withdraw your applications from schools where you have already been accepted. Ack. I don't know what I should do then, it sounds like my only option is to bite the bullet and make the choice blind.
I would call the schools you are waiting to hear back from and explain the deadline. Hopefully they can give you a quick turnaround. Duke's deposit is on the 26th.. you can still get an answer by Tuesday and fedex the deposit .totoro wrote:Oh, I thought she is also talking about schools where you haven't received a scholarship decision.
