Does being a nontraditional applicant help in the app pool

To be completely honest with you, being a non-trad is only SLIGHTLY advantageous. It will NOT offset a poor LSAT or GPA. That being said, in your situation you should rock the LSAT one more time for a 170+ and apply Splitter/work exp friendly schools. With a 170+ you have a shot at Northwestern. The higher your LSAT the better...you could always ED UVA as well.

As far as the other schools you mentioned, you would be competitive but you will most likely have to ride a few waitlists. Where are you looking to practice after law school?
