Grad School Grades

Postby BillsFan9907 » Wed Mar 13, 2013 10:23 am

I did a masters program in a commonwealth country, and they use a percent based system. My GPA was 95.4%. This degree and what I got in it is more or less irrelevant for admissions, right? Won't even help me?

Yes and no. Mostly no- they don't really consider grad GPA/percentage as far as your "numbers" go. They may take into account as a soft factor, but it will basically only help you. You're in good shape- good luck!

The presence of the degree helps. The grades don't matter as long as they are good. You are set.

Grad degrees with solid GPAs are a great soft for splitters, but in your case it won't affect you beyond the benefit of having the degree
