Also held at Columbia. When I saw that profile before, I thought that maybe the personal statement wasn't very well written or that the guy didn't have a clear idea about why he wanted to go law school.

No. I've seen a lot of these claims this year, where people claim really good schools are YPing. YP happens much less than these people think, and schools like Columbia don't YP.

Ah, this is my profile, and I'm not a flame. I think what happened was my multiple LSATs; I had a 157 from 2008, and when asked about it, I basically said "didn't really know much about the test then, didn't prepare enough."

I'm not a bad interviewer and don't have any C&F issues - got into Chicago after the interview. I really just think KB was turned off by that LSAT, but who knows?

Still, that's bizarre to me that KB would flat-out reject you even after your 19-point improvement. I retook the LSAT, too... this definitely makes me worry even more about my chances (as if I really had any). There weren't any questions during your KB1 that blindsided you or caught you off guard?

A nicer way of saying the above: It could have very well been the multiple LSAT scores, but it might be a good idea for you to make sure to do mock interviews through your law school before OCI happens. I think it's pretty common for a person to think they're an average interviewer when they are below average. Get feedback (from mock interviews, etc.) to make sure this isn't the case.

But after seeing some anecdotal evidence of how with a bad result after JS1 seemed to come a bad result from CLS (no interview) I am not sure that was the only reason.

I feel the same :/ I think I've sort of coasted through life by being good at tests and it's finally catching up to me.

Very possible...but my application has an absurd amount of areas that could cause concern (LOR from a class I slept in 80% of the time I attended...but got an A+ in...retake, withdrawals, lack of any extracurriculars (in my app), UG prestiege, lack of WE, no real reason to attend law school (in my app)...interviewing with UChi in a McDonald's parking lot...and some others..) so I don't try to pin it down to any one reason. But my #1 is S so maybe when they reject me, ill try to figure out what's up.

But said applicant doesn't have that so who knows what happened with H.

A college athlete (presumably DI), MBA, lots of work experience and the numbers. Unless, H and C care that much about a 4th LSAT.

I'm a real person, not a flame. I was just kidding on the abortion comment. It's humorous that we're all trying to speculate why I didn't get in; we'll just never know. It's even funnier that people are saying I'm awkward.

Side notes: I'm not a bad interviewer nor is my personal statement off-point or controversial. I got into Berkeley within two weeks of applying and Dean Tom said he was impressed with my PS and recommendations.
