waived LOR's, but I don't trust my dean. They told me I have nothing but I'd still like to see the form to make sure of that. Ask to see the form before they put it in the sealed envelope? Or ask them each individual question on the form, challenge inaccuracies, have a witness present to the dean's answers, and then hand the form over?

What are the consequences of doing this? If it's a school that requires the form only from matriculants, could an acceptance be revoked because I didn't waive?

We're having a hard time imagining ANYTHING specific and concrete enough that would justify not waiving. Without further detail, you sound like a lunatic.

What are you even going to do if, assuming we have somehow fallen through a black hole into a parallel universe where deans are out to sabotage their students' applications to law school, the dean actually does write something you don't agree with? If the dean actually writes something, it would be contrary to what s/he told me, and it would be inaccurate. I think there may be a process to challenge the inaccurate info.

Sure, you have the right to not waive it. But the school has the right to assume you are a paranoid nutbag who doesn't belong at their school. I know I would.

The school gets a bajillion apps. A bajillion-minus-one of them have a signed waiver with the dean's letter. One doesn't. If I'm that school, I'm assuming that either that one person did something squiffy that they were worried about the dean reporting, or that person didn't trust their dean for some weird, unfounded, paranoid reason. Neither sounds like my kind of applicant.

doesn't your school have like 10 deans? just find a different person with the title of dean. this sounds way to paranoid. there's nothing you can do about this. you need the form for law school, so your options are to let them do it, or not go to law school.
