I wholeheartedly agree. This is exactly the point I was trying to make. And thanks for being one of the only people to defend me. I'm not sure how my caring about women's rights came across as self righteous. It's alarming to me that people call me "fucking insufferable" for voicing the fact that I thought a particular meme was in poor taste.

It seems like you're being deliberately disingenuous both here and elsewhere ITT. This, particularly, was self-righteous: "Why is it that the majority are male? Also, in what world is this funny rather than offensive?"

Later on, you also imply that those who agree with you on finding that meme offensive are for women's rights, whereas those who find it funny are against women's rights. That's bullshit, and it's an explicit tribal group kind of dynamic that I find offensive--ironic, I know.

When did I say that people who didn't agree with me were against women's rights? I said nothing of the sort. I said feel free to disagree with me actually. I get that other people don't find it offensive, and that's fine. And when did I say that anyone was for domestic violence? I'm not sure where you're getting this, but at this point, I'd rather not argue anymore.

You have a weird sense of what topics are off limits. Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle make slavery jokes all the time. Child abuse is joked about all the time - Catholic priest jokes, Michael Jackson jokes, all the Richard Pryor material about getting beaten as a kid. There's no topic that should be off limits for a joke
