Stanford or Columbia?
I am planning to work in a US BigLaw firm's Asian office in the future, and perhaps working in NYC for a couple years before that. Would Stanford law or Columbia law better equip me in my career route, including the possibility of making partner? I understand that Stanford is in the YHS top tier in terms of prestige, but that Columbia may be slightly better for BigLaw...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Seriously? It doesn't matter necessarily, in terms of getting that job overseas, especially if you already speak the language. Go where you get more money. Both will place you where you want to go assuming you perform during 1L and beyond. I'll guarantee Columbia's not better than Stanford for Big Law, though.
Stanford will have more name recognition overseas, though. It may afford you better exit options out of the firm job. Keep in mind there's no guarantee that anyone'll make partner, and there's certainly zero predictive value in that now. You may not be in Big Law forever.
Edit: Oh, and you actually need to get into both first... looking at your past posts, "How high of an LSAT will I need to get money at Columbia?" you certainly haven't. This thread is moot. Get into these schools and come back.

I go to Columbia. It's an awesome school for Biglaw. Stanford is awesome-er.

HYS is HYS for a reason. Columbia is a terrific school, but it's clearly a step down.

Let's worry about this when you're holding admit letters from both schools. By the way, it's going to be very difficult to get into Stanford with that 3.69 GPA of yours. Not saying you can't, but only that statistically the odds are very much stacked against you.
