Check and see if your school is on there. Some TTT/TTTT schools have ridiculously low curves for median. In extreme cases a 2.0 stip could be close to top 50%.

median for mine is 3.0. in the literature they sent me it described something like only ten students lost scholarship out of 174 after first year. i am currently negoitiating more money from them. think the stip will go up? abviously i am not worried about a 2.0 stip. that is just ridiculous with a 3.0 median

That's good to hear. That's just about the equivalent of "in good standing." It's not unreasonable to say that it will go up as the scholly money does. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

I believe Michigan had something similar for a scholarship they offered me, but it was largely irrelevant because I think you got put on probation if you went under.

Depends on the school. Some schools use it to replace "good academic standing." (MN)
