what is the point of a 2.0 stip?

my local TTT offered money with a 2.0 stip and i am trying to understand the point of such a thing. i mean, at 2.0 wouldn't you be kicked out?

That's good to hear. That's just about the equivalent of "in good standing." It's not unreasonable to say that it will go up as the scholly money does.
