Noob Application Question (Applying w/out LoR)

Postby StillIll » Sun Jan 13, 2013 6:02 pm

Hi all,

A Noob application question here.

Is it possible to submit my application to various schools without my LoR's ready? Meaning, if I apply to schools through LSAC before my LoR's are ready, will LSAC then submit them/attach them to my application as soon as they are finished (before the completed app deadline)? Or do I need to wait for everything before I begin applying. I'm just curious because I want to get the ball rolling while I wait for professors to finish up my recommendations.

You can submit if the LORs are assigned, but schools won't review your app unless and until you have the req'd number of recs. At this point in the cycle you should probably crack the whip on your profs to get things moving more quickly.
