I don't think it's a problem. But idk if it was you or KevinP but there was that message from LSAC saying that they were providing updated reports to schools and I thought that covered this discrepancy with a new score distribution. When there's only 2500 170s and dramatically less 175s, any difference is significant. But I don't understand how it matters to schools when they'll see with the apps what their pool is.

Where do the ~400 or so non-T14 170s wind up? A few at UT/UCLA/Vandy but then...? That can't account for more than ~100.

It's more than 100 within the T15-20. Vandy alone is 43 based on their 75th and incoming class.

After that, think super-splitters, C&Fs, and LSAT preppies who don't attend.

Assuming 170+ LSAT scores are becoming more valuable, how do you guys think that will affect those with high GPAs? Will splitters become more valuable, causing GPA medians to fall dramatically? Or will high GPAs also increase in value?

There are too many high GPAs for them to have value.

If medians start to fall or are near the breakline, we'll see the hurt on those below both medians. Super-splitters will fare better, and reverse-splitters near the LSAT median will probably fare a little better.

Georgetown is a great example of this:

I assume these lines are median LSAT (vertical) and 75th GPA (horizontal)?
Yeah; the thick horizontal line is LSAT (1pt height) and the thin vertical line is GPA (0.10pt width).
