Worth sending an updated transcript?

Post by dan k » Fri Jan 11, 2013 3:25 am

Already accepted at 3rd highest school I applied to, but I've been waitlisted at two schools and am still waiting on about 14 decisions. Went from 3.97 to 3.98. Is it even worth spending the time to send updated transcripts?

I don't see why you wouldn't. It takes 10 minutes and just shows AdComms you killed it last semester. That can only help you.

The bump definitely isn't a big deal, but, then, neither is the time it takes to update your transcripts.

In your case, it's not about the bump; it's about showing the adcomms that you are consistently/progressively awesome. Also, updating it before they ask you to is a good look. You have absolutely nothing to lose while there's a possibility of some sort of benefit.

Yeah, update them. It's just a matter of sending a transcript off to LSAC. They'll do the rest.
