Good Soft?

Postby Njdeh » Thu Dec 27, 2012 9:41 pm

I'm currently working full time at a foreign Embassy as the executive assistant to the Ambassador, I'm also full time in school right now.

Will my job be considered a good soft when I choose to apply?

It's as good as any other soft. It's definitely better than being a random member of some random undergrad club, but it still won't matter all that much.

Good soft, not game changing though.

A game changing soft would be being the ambassador.

Based on just that, your cycle will probably reflect your numbers.

Add half a point to your LSAT score then round down

How about a letter of recommendation from an Ambassador? Would that have any sort of significance?

Does the ambassador know you well enough to write a personalized rec, or will it be a generic "this person works for me and would make an excellent candidate"? If the latter, then no. If the former,
