Honestly, putting myself into crushing amounts of debt at age 21 just doesn't seem like the best idea. I want to have other options.

Instead of computer science, consider getting a degree in computer engineering. It's basically the same, but with math, and looks much better for potential employers. You probably have a much better shot at tuition scholarships, stipends/etc if you do CE. You'd be best served to do your own research though.

Yep. And hey, if you find that you love Computer Science/Computer Engineering and decide to law school later, than you'd be even more competitive.
