I'm still waiting on my Dec score but I want to write up an addendum first so I can send in my applications as soon as the score comes out..
So here’s my story. I live an 6 hour drive away from the closest test center. When I took the June LSAT, I drove into town the night before and stayed at a cheap hotel. Unfortunately for me, the other guests there that night were being loud and obnoxious all night so I barely got any sleep. It really affected my performance as I was prep testing in the 170 range. So when I retook in December, I drove down 2 days in advance, checked into a nice hotel and made sure they gave me a room on a near empty floor. And I definitely feel like I did great this time.
Does this warrant an addendum? I know law schools tend to take your highest score anyway but I have 1 cancel and 1 low score (164). So I feel like I should explain the circumstances. I don’t want to come across as whiny though and it’s not like my mom died before I took the test. I just had a bad night of sleep.
So, addendum? No addendum? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!!
Advice please! Is this a valid reason for a LSAT addendum? Forum

Re: Advice please! Is this a valid reason for a LSAT addendum?
Nope. Valid reasons for an addendum are things like:
Noisy construction going on outside the testing room.
Proctor calls time 30 minutes early.
Testing room is 90 degrees and windows won't open.
Things that don't deserve an addendum:
I had trouble sleeping the night before.
I was really stressed out.
My desk was really uncomfortable.

It might not be a bad idea to write an addendum.
But your score isn't "low", per se (90th percentile)...
