Good LSAT. Addendum for better LSAT?

Post by wtrc » Wed Dec 05, 2012 4:46 pm

Scored mid 160's, looking at low to mid 170's if all goes well based on PT's. High GPA. Addendum for "low" LSAT of mid 160's, or does that just look ridiculous? If applying to T-14 and some T-30s

From what I've heard, write a short addendum essentially just saying that you had a bad test the first time. No excuses unless you have a really good one.

EDIT: Well...looks like everyone below me disagrees. I guess just do it if they specifically ask for an explanation...

Don't write an addendum.

I didn't write one for my 10 point jump. I've only heard back from one school so far, but it certainly didn't have an adverse effect.

Unless there's a specific reason (illness or death in the family), I'd skip it.
