SoCal is definitely 157, I just double checked on my LSAC sheet.

Assuming the other 155 is correct, that must be South Carolina (although that strikes me as high)

won't you get varying numbers depending on which year each person graduated?

good point. I would assume that most people are probably graduating this year, but that might not be a good assumption to make.

perhaps we should all include year of graduation in our posts.

(2008 here)

I don't think it really matters, I doubt it varies much year to year, just wanted to point out that's why the OP might receive conflicting results. I doubt anyone is lying.

Hey Nipplehead,

I checked mine and it does say 161 (class of 2005), so there must be a difference. Looks like you youngsters at CMC are getting smarter.

heh, i doubt that.......but yeah, as i'm graduating this year ('08), that three year difference must be the reason for the differing scores.

small school advantage as to why wl>wm>uva?

I'd say better-student advantage...

EDIT: Obviously, I'm biased. But I do think that W&L is better even than people give it credit for. It would be a top 10 lib arts if it's peer reputation scores were better (which, for u-grad, doesn't mean too much...)

161 is probably statistically different from 158, but I doubt 161 is from 160, or that 160 is from 158. I think generally the student bodies at UVA + WM are a (small) step up from W&L, at least when I was looking at schools in 03-04.

yeah i just looked up its peer score and you're right, it does hold it down. but it looks like wm is held down by its peer score, too, in a more competitive category. both pale to Dartmouth though :)

This is pretty blatant trolling, but here goes:

Current Princeton Review #s:

W&L:
PR Admission Selectivity Ranking: 98
Reading Middle 50% SAT: 660-730
Math Middle 50% SAT: 650-730

W&M:
PR Admission Selectivity Ranking: 93
Reading Middle 50% SAT: 620-730
Math Middle 50% SAT: 620-710

UVA:
PR Admission Selectivity Ranking: 97
Reading Middle 50% SAT: 600-710
Math Middle 50% SAT: 620-720

Thats all well and good until you graduate and graduate and realize that UVA's name shits on W&L and W&M's names.

Any other 164s? Amherst, Swarthmore, Williams, Stanford, Princeton?

PR for some reason killed on WM that year, normally its the same as UVA for admissions and is generally regarded as harder to get into based on SAT scores and acceptance rate.
