Congrats to NewLobo -- 432 takers off (I think that's the closest, I've been staring at a screen all day, though)

Out of curiosity, what does the number of LSAT takers being down mean for T14 admissions?
I understand there's less people filling the same number of spots, but there's also the chance that the people who chose not to take it in October were likely lower-scoring applicants who got dissuaded.
Any correlation?
What does it mean in general? Thanks!

This guy seems to take a more optimistic stance on the reduced number of LSAT takers

yeah i read somewhere that the one of ranges that has seen a big, if not the biggest, decrease is those who score 170+Wormfather wrote:In a previous thread it was revealed that it is in fact the higher scorers who are deciding not to take. How could/should this affect the application strategy of this cycle's applicants? Aim higher? Way higher?

Holy crap! Is there a breakdown by score range available? Any idea if that will be made available? Asking bc there is a graph of it in last years thread, though that may have been added at the end of the year, unclear
