Post by arak » Mon Oct 29, 2012 9:46 pm

Hurricane Sandy better fear hurricane me if it's the reason LSAC is down.

I'm also wondering why the website isn't working. I need to register for the December LSAT! I don't want to have to pay an extra $69 for late registration.

Is there a chance that LSAC will let me register tomorrow for the regular price if I take a screenshot of the website being down?

Relax. Scores will be out soon enough and the illusion of hope will be shattered.

I'm going to call LSAC tomorrow and see if I can still register for the regular rate. It's unlikely, but it's worth a shot. It probably doesn't matter, but I took screenshots of their webpage being down if they ask.

You're unable to register for the LSAT because of a storm? Get some perspective, people are dying in that storm. That line of reasoning makes SO MUCH sense.

The fact of death or potential death does not eliminate other worries. Life goes on. Believe me, I feel for anyone who may be hurt in any way from this storm. I have a ton of family up in that area. Most of the US population lives in that area. Still, I have to continue living my own life, as does everyone else. Lay off. We're all stressed out, and we all have good reason to be stressed out.
LSAC has released statements that late fees would be waived...

For October test takers. There is no indication the poster above took the October exam. And, in any case, the point is that people have a legitimate reason to be stressed. I understand you're legitimate point - there are more important things happening right now than the LSAT, and I don't think anyone can deny that. But for the person taking that LSAT, that LSAT is, understandably, very important to them.
Important enough to sign up 4 weeks before the exam? lulz

Should be. I know I signed up months before I had to take my LSAT. Different people do different things different ways. Lay off, let people live their lives. Your posts in this thread aren't productive in any way.
1. You are fighting a losing battle QQing about test scores in this situation...

2. Consider this a learning experience. Literally everything you will do as an attorney involves planning well in advance, working ass off to meet deadlines, then sitting around waiting well beyond expected response dates to hear back...

I think anyone whining about LSAC being down ITT should be forced to submit this thread as part of your applications.

TBF, when you make a post as dumb as OP's, you sort of open up a gate for criticism.

Sorry to hear about your problems, but it's disgusting for someone to think that the whole world has to stop so that LSAT scores can be released when something this bad is going on.
