Important question about drafting a resume for Law School?

As we all know when you are applying for a job, you are supposed to indicate your GPA on your resume.

However, since law schools already have access to our transcripts, and already know our grade point average, is it necessary to indicate our GPA on our resume?

I've never posted my grades on any resume I've ever had. Didn't seem to affect me in the least
