Applying ED to GULC. Anyone know if doing an optional essay boosts chances?

Has anyone done a video with success? If so, what did you say in it?

It all depends on your numbers. If you are at the medians or better, don't bother

Got my acceptance letter today. My GPA was 3.49 and my LSAT was 169, so maybe it did nothing, but it didn't take more than an hour to draft and record, and certainly made me feel better. (Of course, when I submitted, I started freaking about the extra 20 seconds).
