Would it hurt me to apply for fall 2013?

Post by jcasey12 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 2:30 pm

I am taking the LSAT for the first time in December but would like to apply to schools for the fall 2013 semester. I understand that because of rolling admissions that when you apply late, your chances of acceptance are greatly decreased. I wanted to know if I were to apply to schools in January for the fall of 2013 but got denied to the schools I want to go to, would it negatively affect me if I were to apply to the same schools for the fall of 2014?

Negative. I took December LSAT, was waitlisted at BYU because their spots were full, but was offered deferred admission for the following year and didn't even have to reapply. It doesn't hurt you if you didn't get in the first time to reapply. Your spring grades will be out, so make sure your GPA will improve and take the LSAT again if necessary. You will be fine, don't worry. :)
