To whom should a generic LOR be addressed?

Post by bdeebs » Thu Sep 27, 2012 2:18 pm

One of my professors asked me and I am unsure of the proper protocol. Any advice?

Prelaw Handbook recommends "Dear law school admissions committee."

You may chide the website formatting, but Ken's Dad is the guy who made (and updates) the website. (Ken is the founder of this website.)

In general, this sounds like you're withdrawing. "Dear Sir or Madam" is better if you can't get any more specific.
