LORs??

Post by glitterfyme » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:30 pm

Should I submit

1 LOR from employer (known four years, worked with 3 years)
1 LOR from thesis advisor/dean of undergraduate sociology program

or

the 2 LORs mentioned above +
1 LOR from TA for three semesters

is having just the two LOR's okay, or should I add in the extra LOR from the TA?

thanks!

2 is required (depends on school) and get additional one in case you are waitlisted

If you only submit two, it should be the two academic LORs. To the extent that your target schools care about LORs at all, they will almost uniformly prefer LORs that credibly assess your academic potential.

Of course, you could also submit all three.
