You should be good for an NYU or Penn ED in addition to Michigan/UVA/GULC/Duke/(Cornell EA though its not binding)...You will probably be Deferred>Admit at Northwestern if you ED there. Honestly, with your numbers I would just apply RD and MAYBE shoot an ED app at Columbia/Chicago (the ED might get you a WL) or Northwestern (if you wanna try for the scholly). You should be in for RD at most of the lower T14 and WL'ed in 7-10 (with good prospects of being accepted). If sticker isn't a problem, ED at your choice of CCN if you wanna be risky or MVP if you want a safer bet.

P.S. I remember you from the December & June threads!

You definitely are not a lock at NU. While I think you'll likely eventually get in, there is mroe than a decent possibillity that you don't get money.

I don't know how much of a concern $$ is, but if it is, I would consider Duke or Michigan for ED. Those schools, among some others, base their merit aid off of a predetermined formula -- meaning it doesn't matter whether you apply ed or rd, you are going to get the same amount of money. Other schools, like UVA, are more varied with their aid and signifigantly less likely to give it to ED candidates (at least that's what i understand from anecdotal evidence).

I also don't think you have a great shot at NYY ED or RD.

Okay shot at Penn ED, but by no means a lock. Probably about a 40% chance.

similar numbers, I was wondering if softs were crucial during ED or is it still more determined by numbers?

OP, where do you want to work?

I'm in a similar situation, as I'm strongly considering a Mich ED with pi/170. I also have the same 2 years of WE.

I agree with jrthor that you won't get the NU ED scholly, and it's pretty unlikely that you get any money at all. You're looking pretty good for admission though. I have heard they may give some additional consideration to ED apps rolled over to the RD pool as well.

While you may get some scholarships from a merit formula school, as jrthor said, I wouldn't count on it. Splitter EDs may have to be OK with sticker in exchange for being secure at the T14 they want. That's what I'm doing, at least.

Sorry I forgot to mention earlier that Mich ED locks you into a summer start, which you should note if you're considering them. Good luck with the decision!
