LSAC/LSDAS International Transcripts

I'm not sure where to ask this question, so forgive me if this is the incorrect place...

LSAC asks that you only submit an international institution's transcripts if your work abroad combined equals more than one year of Bachelors-level study in the US.

1) I took 18 credits in an international institution prior to transferring to the US. Since that is below what is technically two semesters of full-time study (24cr), I am assuming that I should not list it. Is my assumption correct?

2) If I don't list it, and I therefore do not send its transcripts, how would my LSDAS GPA be calculated? Would they include the grades for the classes that were transferred or not? (as my current university does not count them in its overall GPA)

It will not be counted.
I also took 18 credits in Korea (two summer programs) and even used 3 of those classes to fulfill my major requirement but when I called LSAC they told me that it won't be counted towards LSDAS gpa.

Call LSAC and double check. Your situation isn't as cut and dry. The 1 year of study normally applies when you are doing a study abroad program and are still within a US university as the home school. If you enrolled in an international institution first and then transferred schools to a US school that is the equivalent of starting in one US school and transferring after one semester.

For example, going to Harvard and doing a study abroad program in London for a semester would not count. Starting off your entire education for one semester in Oxford and then transferring to Harvard may or may not count.

Better ask and make sure than to have a C&F problem later on for hiding the coursework. You probably won't have to send in the transcript but now's not the time to take risks. Regardless, the international courses will not affect your LSAC GPA since they are international. They will be shown in all likelihood as a separate rating on the average-above average-superior scale thingy.

Yeah, I started out internationally then transferred here. Okay, I'll call and ask. Probably best.

Really? God, I hope you're right. I really don't want those grades counted in my LSDAS GPA.. they'll knock a 3.8 down to a 3.6. Stupid incomplete class that I never got to complete...
