Chicago PS length

Postby dsn32 » Sun Aug 19, 2012 8:44 pm

Is the general consensus on the UChicago personal statement that the length can be anywhere from 2-4 pages, or is it more like the Boalt PS where you need to get closer to that 4 pages to have a solid PS? I haven't heard a ton of discussion on this and was just curious....

Directly from the law school's FAQs:

"Is there a page limit on my personal statement?
There is no page limit, but we generally find 2-3 pages to be sufficient in most circumstances. If it is longer, make sure that it is absolutely necessary and really interesting."

Good find! I was looking solely on the application itself, and didn't want to submit a two pager when i'll be edited it to a four page later! Thanks!
