As a lawyer/law student, do you get into more physical and verbal fights in your personal life than you did before you started studying law?

Not sure why it would happen, but I was considering the following problems:

1. Models + Bottles

2. Jealousy

3. Douchebaggary (encompasses drugs)

4. Random contempt for lawyers

5. Confidence in your knowledge of the law coupled with your possible enjoyment of conflict.

As a prospective lawyer, i'm becoming less prone to letting people piss me off enough to cause anything remotely close to being deemed a 'violent' altercation. I wouldn't want to go through law school only to fail c&f. Can't imagine anyone not feeling the same way. Thus, i doubt lawyers, with their careers on the line, would be more 'violent' than anyone else unless they are suffering from other problems that lead to them being hot heads.

Well, if we're ass hats AND out of shape, that suggests we a) run our mouths off and b) being out of shape, invite people to fight us (as they'll feel they're likely to win and therefore more inclined to try).
