The fact that your TLS box celebrates the "top notch" quality and "best value" of rutgers only reinforces that feeling.

You face it, you probably didn't get in!SemperLegal wrote:I want you all, especially xxx, to know that I resent you for selfishly, childishly, and classly further sinking the Rutgers' brand name into the depths of Ramapo Hell.
There is a reason why Rutgers-Camden was threatened with a change of name, they are under preforming. I would have paid Rowan to take the entire campus off our hands, the inclusion of RWJ was just icing on the cake.
As for the argument that Camden is the only hopes of a quality education in South Jersey: Is NB really that hard to get into? Is it that hard to find decent housing in Highland Park; and is SIX MINUTES too long to get to/from a train station or the biggest road in NJ? I wish I could afford to live next to Columbia, but I don't publicly weep at the fact that they won't reinstate our sister college status and let me live in Middlesex County. Either uproot yourself and your family, or man up and commute a few hours a day like most NJians.
As for the fact that theres no NB law program, lets be honest, as much as this pains me to admit, all RU law schools suck, if this was not even remotely true, I would be your classmate.
Face it, you remain on the dodgeball team despite your weight, solely cause the gym teacher wanted you to stop crying.

Re: Rutgers-Camden Law will not be merging with Rowan
Hilarious thread is hilarious. Rutgers-Camden is having such a hard time filling their incoming class that a member of the admissions department must now pose as an overly-enthusiastic optimist thrilled with the opportunity to attend one of New Jersey's "illustrious" law schools? Not even just an optimist, but someone insisting that the glass is half full when, in reality, the glass is broken on the floor and the sewage it contained has spilled everywhere.
I won't hold my breath for that skyrocket in the rankings.
What's even funnier is the thought that this isn't an elaborate troll/plant and this person exists. I pity the poor souls that will have to attend class with him.

In South Jersey, Rutgers Camden is considered a disgrace. It has no standing whatsoever. Only very poor students, who cannot get admission anywhere for financial or academic reasons, go there. Professors and administrators are there only to collect huge state paychecks. We are hoping Rowan will grow into a stronger and better University in South Jersey and fill this huge void.

You created an account to troll that Rowan is better than Rutgers? GTFOchromatin1 wrote:In South Jersey, Rutgers Camden is considered a disgrace. It has no standing whatsoever. Yes I am! going into my 2L. I think a lot of kids at our school will defend it, I dont think admissions is doing enough of that, so I will say it as I see it. I think its laughable that you all think that I am an admissions staffer lol. I spend good money on school, I am not going to break it down. Its a great law school and is very affordable! Don't worry Rutgers will be on the upswing soon haters!InGoodFaith wrote:I asked this already here, but what's your story Boston? Are you a current student? Are you not even going to defend the fact that we all think you're a mouthpiece for RU-C's admissions office?

Haven't people been saying that for about two decades? Rutgers has diluted its own brand in the undergraduate arena by having a multitude of campuses, when in reality the only one even remotely worth attending is the flagship campus in New Brunswick. Is there a need to talk about the law schools in a similar regard? Exactly how many students have paid their seat deposit for the incoming class at Rutgers-Camden? 1/3 of the class?BostonNJ wrote:Don't worry Rutgers will be on the upswing soon haters!

They were also dishing out acceptances to people who hadn't applied. As someone with half a brain, I can tell you that Rutgers Law is a terrible school.InGoodFaith wrote:They waived the seat deposit for pretty much everyone.Cornelius wrote:Haven't people been saying that for about two decades? I also think it's ridiculous to compare Rutgers to the bottom half of the T-14 as well as the t25.

Are people comparing it to T-14 or T25? (I'm legitimately asking, not being a dick)JetsFan1990 wrote:They were also dishing out acceptances to people who hadn't applied. No, it isn't. Even at the nadir of the economic downturn, a select, but non-trivial, group of schools consistently placed the majority of their classes in quality clerkships or market rate paying jobs. This continues to be true. If you can't score a seat at one of these schools, well, that sucks - for you. Not everyone is betting it all on six with their future, however.Oh, I totally agree with you that prospects are terrible for the legal field today, but that is ubiquitous!

I amend my previous post - apparently, it was charitable to the point of twee.
Rutgers-Camden is now a complete shit-show, and the latest attraction in center ring is impressive, even for these consumate flimflam artists: Thrill to soaring misrepresentations of average student debt reported to the ABA and USNEWS for the last three years. Inaccuracies that just happened, dontcha know, to result in RC being listed by US News as among the best values in US legal education. Jesus Christ...
