The Law School Application Super Spreadsheet, 2012-2013 (updated 09/19/12 15:02 EST)
I noticed no one has updated appreqs.com in a while so I made an excel spreadsheet for all of the T30. I accumulated the info after researching the ABA Data sheets, school websites, and then emailing admissions offices for some items (max LORs, dean's cert, etc.)
Link to Google Doc
There are five tabs:
Tab 1: Application info, deadlines, application requirements
Tab 2: Fee Waiver tracker
Tab 3: Application Status Tracker (so you can transfer later to LSN)
Tab 4: Financial Aid Info/Deadlines
Tab 5: LSAT/GPA Medians for 2011 and 2012
Tab 6: Cost of Attendance calculators (input your 3 year total scholarship award)
Note: You must download the spreadsheet to edit it with your own info. I am the only person editing it online and I won't be granting access to anyone to do so until after this cycle.
You should be able to download the file and edit it yourself on your computer to keep track of your own cycle. Go to file > download as > .xls.
I'll update as more info becomes available for the cycle. Please do not ask to "share" the spreadsheet with anyone. It is publicly viewable to anyone who has the link, but only able to be edited by me (to protect it from abuse/redundancy).
Enjoy!

Just giving back to TLS. Appreqs.com would be amazing if it was updated every year but sadly whoever was in charge didn't hand it off to people to update. After this cycle I plan on making someone an admin if they want to maintain it for next year's cycle (and hopefully the chain will continue indefinitely).lovejopd wrote:You rock Thx!!

I sent mine out last week and was told by most schools to check back at the end of August. Only Georgetown gave me one immediately.TrialLawyer16 wrote:When is the best time to or when are you guys going to start sending out fee waiver requests?

Some of this info is wrong/missing.
I do not believe GULC averages.
You shoud include Why X essays for UVA, Mich, Penn ect.

From Georgetown Law's website:MillerTheThriller wrote:Some of this info is wrong/missing.

Highest if 2 LSATs, average if >2 LSATs so I put average. For reporting purposes, Georgetown Law adheres to the ABA policy of reporting the higher LSAT score. For evaluation purposes, the Georgetown Admissions Committee typically considers the highest LSAT score. Georgetown may consider an average of scores if you have taken the LSAT more than two times. Please address any mitigating circumstances you feel the Admissions Committee should consider in your application materials.
The Why X essays are encouraged but are not mandatory at ANY school.
-----------
On a completely different note, Georgetown is now referring to itself as Georgetown Law, not Georgetown University Law Center. Website was severely overhauled.

Re: Law School AppReqs & Fee Waiver Tracker 2012-2013
Seems the address is still GULC and there are still mentions of the "Law Center" but I don't see "Georgetown University Law Center" written anywhere other than the address. Just "Georgetown Law." They also replied to my fee waiver request by saying "Thank you for your interest in Georgetown Law."MillerTheThriller wrote:Really?! I made updates to the spreadsheet for the GULC (or is it GL now?) LSAT stuff. I added the Why X stuff for UVA/Penn/Mich. I had only left it out because it wasn't specifically suggested on their website, only in interviews with deans and admissions directors. You can write a Why X for any school.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
