You should turn off CRS! I also got the UCLA one last January after taking my first LSAT (168) even though I don't graduate undergrad until May 2013. I'm assuming anything above that gets a fee waiver unless something else goes into it (maybe undergrad institution?).

I feel like Nicole from Florida Coastal is stalking my life on the boardwalk now. Every email becomes increasingly histrionic. "Pay attention to me!!!!!".

Ironically I've never gotten an email from Cooley, Florida Coastal, or Phoenix.

I get a TON from Pacific though.

I would think so. I got one yesterday, but the year before I got one in January. If you don't get one, you should email them and ask for one. I think they're pretty generous with merit-based fee waivers.

They probably do a search each month. I got one in January as well. 168 seems to be the non-URM cutoff though (their LSAT median)...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That was quick :)

I haven't started soliciting yet. How long does it normally take you guys to get responses to your fee waiver requests?

Yep, I got a waiver after my feb LSAT (170+) and they just sent me a new one as well. I doubt it has anything to do with undergrad institution seeing as I was in Randomville, Midwest, USA. Probably just a GPA/LSAT combo.

South Texas College of Law - Unsolicited. Out of state. Email was talking about a Spring start program, so I'm not sure if the waiver was for only that or for the normal cycle too.

Not sure if anyone has tried yet, but I sent a waiver request to Chicago and they confirmed that they don't do solicited waver requests. I'm guessing no one has gotten any e-mails/letters from chicago about a merit-based fee waiver?

Most schools are pretty quick at getting back. I got responses mostly within a week at the most from all the schools I tried soliciting waivers from (23 total)...the only one to not get back to me so far is GW (its been about a month).

I will have to try them again on 9/1, they had told me to wait until September.

Got this one too, I think its for either - still not applying but added to the spreadsheet.

I had tried and put in the spreadsheet that they only do unsoliciteds and need-based about a month ago. I don't think unsoliciteds have gone out yet...but if GPA has any say in the matter I won't be getting one.

You need an LSAT score to request these fee waivers from schools, correct?

Yes, and unsolicited waivers are by LSAT score as well.

This chart is fantastic! Thanks a ton for creating it and keeping it updated. Can you clarify for me the difference between a school in the "Solicited Merit-based Fee Waivers (Email)" category and a school in the "Offer Merit-Based Fee Waivers..." category that says "(solicited)" next to it? Is there a different process for getting waivers from the latter category? Thanks.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
