Two Bachelors degrees Forum

Quick question/hoping for advice:

I have two bachelors degrees...one from 2006, where I graduated with a 2.2 cumulative GPA from a Good liberal arts school.

The second I received in 2010, where I took almost as many credits as my first degree and graduated with a 3.55.

As of now my LSAC GPA just takes into consideration my first bachelors degree, does anyone know or have any information about how schools will view my second bacherlors degree?

Any help would be awesomeeeee!

LSAC GPA only counts classes taken up until the awarding of your first bachelor's degree, and that is the GPA that counts. The second one will be viewed as a soft factor only.

LSAT score is worth like 50% of your total "package." LSAC GPA is like 45%. The rest is soft factors. They're really only relevant for tiebreaking between similar candidates and tipping borderline applications one way or the other.

(Unless you are URM, and then subtract a little from everything else make it 10% URM status.)

ETA: the 2nd degree could qualify you to take the patent bar and get an IP job, if it's in a hard science/engineering type major. But aside from that, it's really not going to matter much.

As said, won't count towards LSAC GPA, but you should do an academic addendum where you focus more on the second degree and GPA. Also include the GPA on your CV/Resume, and, if it works with your Personal Statement, slip the second GPA in there as well.

It's true, you do have to give 110% to get into a good school. Or at least >102%.
