JS1= Skype Interview with either Admissions Dean Jessica Soban or Admissions Director Karen Buttenbaum. It is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for being admitted.
JS2= Phone call or e-mail from Jessica, notifying you of admission to Harvard Law.

It means that you posted in a thread so that it will appear on the "view your posts" command button. Apparently there is a way of "bookmarking" a thread, but I don't think anybody actually knows how to do it.

ucp.php?i=main&mode=bookmarks

It's so unintuitive though -- you have to go through your "User Control Panel."

so what is SLIP ? relating to the DOJ. plenty of searching and nothing turns up besides a discussion about "SLIP", can I get the name of this program/internship?

it's aggravating how reliant the forum is on jargon, to be completely honest. it doesn't take much time to type out two or three words and nonstop abbreviations must confuse new users.

Summer Law Intern Program. This is a very competitive internship with the DOJ. It's their acronym, not from TLS.

Your numbers are so bad that ad-comms basically won't even look at the rest of your app. You get tossed into the reject pile immediately.

I.e. 2.5/150 applying to Yale
